HISTORY
Eclipse Advisory has in it’s DNA a rich vein of professional qualifications, expertise and experience unmatched by many others.  At age 24 CEO David Robson commenced his junior partnership with the mid-tier accounting firm Love & Wallace.  In 1988 David thought it was time to “go it alone” commencing as a sole practitioner under the banner of Robson Consulting. The intervening 28 years saw the business prosper and grow into the largest multidisciplinary accounting practice on the Central Coast offering a range of professional services and experiences that few could match. In 2009. to encourage growth and opportunity for clients and staff alike, the public company Countplus Limited took control of the company and it’s future.

In 2017 after 8 years as General Manager was time for a change.  And so it was that Eclipse Advisory was born.  After a period of establishment, growth and consolidation, Eclipse is extremely well-placed to help businesses ride the waves and avoid the icebergs of the current volatile business panorama.

ACHIEVEMENTS
In the words of Steve Jobs, “the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work, the only way to do great work is to love what you do”.  Thus, after 35 years of professional practice CEO, David Robson still loves what he does and has much to celebrate. Beyond the financial success of building a company from zero to $3 million is the people success, starting with the engagement of loyal team members that he had the opportunity to work beside (some for over 25 years), and extending to the rewarding client friendships built up over many years.

We also mark with pride the building of a corporate soul that made learning and having fun together a priority. A soul that resonated an “open and honest” philosophy and a soul that thought of others less fortunate. Indeed, corporate giving to the community through a range of fundraising payroll giving, sponsor and scholarships was a sustained and significant personal initiative of David’s that he remains justly proud of. Whilst achievements are a recognition of past success, they remain as guideposts for future commitment.
